What we move
- Website files and folder structure

- Email accounts, and existing mail where the old host allows it
- Cron jobs and basic DNS records
How to request one
- Log in to your client area and open a ticket in the Migrations or Technical Support department.
- Provide your old host’s control panel URL, username and password — or a full cPanel backup link.
- List the domains and email accounts to be migrated.
- Tell us any time window you would prefer for the cutover.
What to expect
Most standard cPanel-to-cPanel migrations complete within 24 hours. Larger or custom setups may take longer, and we will keep you updated on the ticket. Your old site stays online throughout — nothing changes for visitors until you switch nameservers.
After the migration
- We give you a preview link so you can check the copied site.
- Once you approve it, update your nameservers to point at HostingSutra.
- Keep your old hosting active for about a week to catch any stray email or files.
Good to know
Change your password at the old host after the migration is complete. Also plan the cutover for a low-traffic period, and avoid publishing new content on the old site during the transfer — anything added after we copy the data will not carry over.
